Norfolk & Waveney Clinical Commissioning Group

Long Stratton Medical Partnership is part of the Norfolk and Waveney Clinical Commissioning Group.

South Norfolk CCG took over from the Primary Care Trust at the start of April 2013, followed by the merger of the CCGs for Norwich, Norfolk Norfolk, South Norfolk, West Norfolk and Great Yarmouth and Waveney on 1st April 2020.

The Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is responsible for planning and paying for local health and care services with a budget allocated to them from the Department of Health, a process known as commissioning. They do not provide care directly but they work with patients, healthcare professionals, local communities and councils to make sure that appropriate services are in place for people living locally.

Patient involvement in the NHS services is essential to ensure the treatment and support offered is the best for everyone, if you would like to be involved you can find out more by visiting their website, please click HERE.
